GOTT: Savasana, often called the “final relaxation pose,” is a restorative practice that allows the body and mind to fully integrate the benefits of the class. It promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and supports recovery.

Part one begins in a seated position on the hip bones, soles of the feet together, gently opening the hips to release tension. Extend the arms overhead to lengthen the spine, then transition to lying down with a Side Stretch, opening the side body for a deep, soothing release.

In part two, repeat these movements with slightly deeper stretches, allowing the body to settle further and inviting complete relaxation.

Part three introduces Legs Inversion, lifting the legs to reverse blood flow and give the heart a gentle “break,” which can aid circulation and boost immunity. This final phase of Savasana encourages full surrender, leaving participants refreshed, calm, and restored.
